CATCH Conversations: My Red Said, The Conversation Starts Here - Talking About Trauma
Show Notes

It's not easy to talk about mental health, but it is vitally important in caring for it, and there are ways to start the conversations.  That's why Jessica Hutchison, LCPC, created My Red Said,  a mental health awareness campaign inspired by the pandemic.  And now it's coming to Northbrook!

In this episode, Jessica joins Amy (aka the mom) and Dr. Lisa (aka the therapist) to talk about My Red Said,  why discussing mental health is critical, and how to talk to our kids about the trauma they are experiencing.   When you tune in, you'll also find out how you can participate in CATCH's  My Red Said campaign in Northbrook starting today, September 1, 2021.

This is the conversation you aren’t having with your kids' doctors and teachers because time doesn’t allow it. Or, with your friends, because they just don’t get it. So put in your AirPods, take this 20 minutes for you and join our conversation because mental health matters.

Amy is the founder and Dr. Lisa is an active board member of CATCH: Community Action Together for Children's Health,  a 501c3 organization based on the NorthShore of Chicago with a mission to empower families to foster resilience and prioritize mental health and emotional wellness in their children through educational programming, access to resources, and peer support.
